Extreme lag

I upgraded my PC from a i7-3770 with 16 gb ddr3 ram to an i9 9900K with 16gb ddr4 ram.

I got a little bit better fps, but what I was hoping for was to get rid of the extreme lagging. But it get even worse! I use a RTX 2060 Super 8gb...

Any advice?

Channel map uses more than 16GB of RAM - at least on my system. This plot is taking off and running touch and goes at High Halden in the Spitfire, flying north to the Thames, Manston, Dover then landing at High Halden again.

Machine is i3770K OC @ 4.5GHz, 2070S, 1440p, msaa_x4, Ani_x16, high most things, OBS recording but using iGPU for encoding.

Pretty much stutter free, pagefile.sys removed, all the craptastic background programs like steam, logitech hub, etc., etc. disabled.

Interesting to think that you only chose 16GB RAM in 2020.... :)

Personally, my next PC I am hopefully going to build towards the end of the year will have *at least* 64GB RAM (right now, I am running with 32GB RAM already).

i9 9900k, 64GB RAM, RTX 2080super Samsung 970 1TB system and 970 1TB drive for DCS and one other power hungry space game

no stutters at all so far, its been so smooth that I have not bothered to check what fps I get.
