DCS Updater: Cleaning Up... (Not Responding)

Ever since I installed the 1.5 beta, after each install/update, when the DCS Updater tries to 'clean up' it locks up. I also just downloaded/installed the FC3 Training files, and it froze at about 30% when it was cleaning up. It's always froze right about at 30%.

I never noticed this in previous versions of the game. But I also had just installed Windows 10 Home x64 right before 1.5 was released. So, it started on this new/upgraded OS and when 1.5 came out.

I just End Task on it, and then run a tool to clean up temp files. Will that remove the 'uncleaned' files from DCS? Or are those somewhere else that I need to manually clean up?

Also, there is some ongoing problem with BitDefender that stops the game from logging in. I've had this for a few years. I did a month long test last summer, keeping a log of every combination of Bitdefender options that I tried. In the end, it was just flaky and not consistient. I have found that if I just turn off the AV and FW, I can usually login. I can then turn it back on. And lately it seems to 'fix' itself, and I don't have to do that after a few times. But after a few weeks it may start all over and I have to do that again..

BTW, the old autoupdate log before this one did clean up successfully. But others didn't...

Downloaded the openbeta installer - six bin + one exe - i installed it

and i ran into the following problem:

When launching the 1.5openbeta updater it sayz:

Sorry, web installs are temporarily suspended.

use the full installer please.

and directs me to:

http://updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com/

and there it reads like this:

Latest released DCS_updater is 2.5.3.2

If your updater got corrupt because of a broken antivirus or firewall software, you may download it here:

DCS_updater_64bit.zip 1.0 MB

Attention: Only 64-bit OSes are supported.

Note: DCS_updater.exe is digitally signed by The Fighter Collection.

ok., i download it and run it and the same happens again.

(... the same happens when i start the DCSworldOpenbeta exe from the desktopshortcut...

but i can start the program from the dcsworldopenbeta directory by launching run.exe or

launching dcs.exe from the bin subdirectory... and it works fine with SU25T

but i am not able to update even from here {dcsworldopenbeta/bin/DCS_updater.exe} )

It would be good if somebody could help me.
