Multiplayer GUI Help Please

Is there any way to fix the Multiplayer GUI stretch problem with a multi-monitor setup? I spent hours getting it to work only to find out I can't access the Multiplayer buttons. This is a crappy oversight by ED IMO.

The MP GUI is kinda hardcoded for what it is. You might be able to add some "windowed" tag to the startup parameters or something.

Thanks. I tried it but no luck. It's fine. I have two options lau files that I swap out. The game is awesome either way. I still hope ED comes out with a fix. It is probably very simple with the right coding. I will wait.

Yeah I'm hoping the MP GUI gets some graphical options, or at least inherits from the SP GUI. It's kinda embarrassing for ED.

I had to dig deep to find this post again, there was a couple of people with similar issues who managed to hack it back together correctly for multimonitor.

I did try that but no joy. I even tried changing the numbers but nothing works. Somebody is flying online with multiple monitors.

I got it to work with some oddities. I can't see the actual briefing and fly buttons. I must scroll over the bottom left of center screen and look for the note. Once in the pit I must alt-ctl-del and then cancel to get the multi screen to work. It may seem like a lot of BS to go through but I can fly online with multi monitor now. Yippee!!!!!!!!!!

yes, the mods do not work after the 1.01 patch. My buttons disappeared and I could not get past the Briefing and to the Fly button.

This must be addressed so cockpit builders can fly MP (we will soon be the only ones still flying BS). Covering the second and or third monitors so that only Shkval, ABRIS and guages show in your cockpit (which seems to be the way all will be going), means you cannot access the MP menus at all.

All that agree should keep this post on top until we get a word on the solution.

I think someone over at ED's office needs to get some extra monitors and a cockpit soon :D

Anyone know which config file to edit to change my name in multiplayer? from Unknown to Whatever?
