Hoggorm Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Hi, I just left a multiplayer server and would like to view the replay. I find the mission name in the replay/multiplayer section but after double clicking it only the F10 map is shown. Nothing happens... What am I doing wrong here...?

Multiplayer tracks start "Paused". Unpause it. I usually advance time as well until I'm in the cockpit. There can be up to a minute or two of lead in before you reach your start. Hoggorm Posted December 12, 2016 Author Posted December 12, 2016 I see! Thank you! I'll check it later. I can not remember a "Paused" message though. Maybe it is not displayed? Thank you again!
Ironhand Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 (edited) I believe that, if you look at the time bar in the upper right corner, you'll see a blinking indicator. But I could be wrong. It's one of those things I know because someone else asked this very question sometime earlier in my life... :) Edited December 12, 2016 by Ironhand YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU1...CR6IZ7crfdZxDg _____ Win 11 Pro x64, Asrock Z790 Steel Legend MoBo, Intel i7-13700K, MSI RKT 4070 Super 12GB, Corsair Dominator DDR5 RAM 32GB.
Hoggorm Posted December 12, 2016 Author Posted December 12, 2016 Yes, you are right. There is a P blinking. I was able to view a replay earlier today. That is - I did not actually see it since it took so long to start it. I pressed the pause button while in the F10 map. It took a long time however before I can see a picture of an airport. At that time, I had to go, but decided to just let DCS run. When I came back a couple of hours later the replay was finished, so it had played. How long do it take before something happens after starting a replay? Is it really several minutes? I would say I left the screen about three minutes after starting the replay.
Ironhand Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 ...Is it really several minutes? I would say I left the screen about three minutes after starting the replay. It always feels like several hours which is why I CTRL+Z several times to get myself into the cockpit a bit more quickly. I imagine it takes awhile to load the "snapshot" of where everything and everyone is, when you enter. I suspect that the time you spend in the Spectator area prior to selecting a flight might also be added. But that's just a suspicion. Hoggorm Posted December 13, 2016 Author Posted December 13, 2016 I see. Thank you for all help Ironhand. At least I can be fairly certain it is working as designed, since you confirm my findings :)
