REL Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Hey In the Options menu in the Special F-86 Tab there is Landing seat adjustment checkbox ... what is this option do?
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted September 14, 2014 ED Team Posted September 14, 2014 When ticked it will adjust the height of your seat for landing automatically when you deploy your gear. Un-ticked the seat remains in the same position Forum rules - DCS Crashing? REL Posted September 14, 2014 Author Posted September 14, 2014 Is there a way to adjust the seat from the cockpit?
Zabuzard Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 It also moves the seat if engaging the guns or other equipment. Its meant to help users with NO TrackIR or similiar programs. If you have such Id recommend to disengage this feature because it then feels veeery unnatural :)

Unchecked that option and everything immediately feels a whole lot better.
SharpeXB Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 So the seat raising up and down with the gear extension is not a real feature of the aircraft? Just a game aid? I know some aircraft do have adjustable seats for landing etc, but don't see this feature mentioned anywhere in the manual. i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5
