Nobody96 Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Hi I am currently unable to unbind some key-bindings that are using more than 1 modifier. The issue is present and reproducible in all DCS Titles. It seems to be related to the order the "reformers" in the Keyboard.diff.lua are in. Unbind 'Wheel brake Parking' for the TFT51D module Restart DCS Wheel brake Parking is reverted back to 'LAlt + LCtrl + W' Close DCS, open the Keyboard.diff.lua file with your editor of choice Find the diff for "Wheel brack Parking" Change '[1] = "LAlt", [2] = "LCtrl",' to '[1] = "LCtrl", [2] = "LAlt",' Restart DCS Find that the the binding is gone. -Mathias My System: Intel Core i7-4770K, Asus ROG Strix RX480 O8G, 24GB Ram
Wolf Rider Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 the .lua editor of choice should be Notepad++ can you describe how you go about your Step 1 City Hall is easier to fight, than a boys' club - an observation :P "Resort is had to ridicule only when reason is against us." - Jefferson "Give a group of potheads a bunch of weed and nothing to smoke out of, and they'll quickly turn into engineers... its simply amazing." Nobody96 Posted September 29, 2014 Author Posted September 29, 2014 I click the CLEAR button. Also I use CLEAR CATEGORY sometimes. Both works fine if there is only one modifier used or if the modifiers happen to be 'in order' For me the editor of choice is Emacs :-) -Mathias My System: Intel Core i7-4770K, Asus ROG Strix RX480 O8G, 24GB Ram
Wolf Rider Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Unbind 'Wheel brake Parking' for the TFT51D module Restart DCS Wheel brake Parking is reverted back to 'LAlt + LCtrl + W' Do you save the settings (1a) before restarting? (I'm assuming you try the step 1 edit from within the sim itself) City Hall is easier to fight, than a boys' club - an observation :P "Resort is had to ridicule only when reason is against us." - Jefferson "Give a group of potheads a bunch of weed and nothing to smoke out of, and they'll quickly turn into engineers... its simply amazing." Nobody96 Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 Of course I saved it. It wouldn't end up in the Keyboard.diff.lua otherwise. -Mathias My System: Intel Core i7-4770K, Asus ROG Strix RX480 O8G, 24GB Ram

Shark-Bait Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) I have exactly the same issue. Hope it's fixed with the latest update. :-) Video: _________ PS: Wolf Rider: "the .lua editor of choice should be Notepad++" I am going to learn .lua just so I can make some awesome missions for MiG-21bis. The current 'fictional' setup is kindof strange. You're in Russia, flying a Russian aircraft but you're not Russian. Edited October 10, 2014 by Shark-Bait Added post-script
Wolf Rider Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 (edited) hmmm, seems there is something not quite right going on... just updated to latest (1.2.10.32582.527) version, selected P51D Sim/ Wheel Brake Parking and cleared/ add the assignment several times (pressing OK and then going back into the Options) and got every change made listed in the assignment window If I pressed RCTRL then LSHFT then w it listed in reverse... LSHFT + RCTRL+ w Edited October 11, 2014 by Wolf Rider City Hall is easier to fight, than a boys' club - an observation :P "Resort is had to ridicule only when reason is against us." - Jefferson "Give a group of potheads a bunch of weed and nothing to smoke out of, and they'll quickly turn into engineers... its simply amazing."
