Bourrinopathe Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 (edited) [ SOLVED ] Is there a way to access the Su-27 (for DCS World) module within DCS if FC3 is already installed ? I'd like to use the Su-27 menu items separately but I don't want to loose some of the FC3 aircrafts (MiG-29 / Su-33) by disabling FC3 via the module manager. Is there a way to do that, even if it implies some basic .lua editing ? Any pro-tip would be really appreciated  Thanks. (the Su-27 (for DCS World) only appears if I disable FC3) Edited March 27, 2015 by Bourrinopathe see below /// ВКБ: GF Pro MkII+MCG Pro/GF MkII+SCG L/Black Mamba MkIII/Gladiator/T-Rudder MkII | X-55 Rhino throttle/Saitek Throttle Quadrant | OpenTrack+UTC /// ZULU +4 /// /// "THE T3ASE": i9 9900K | 64 GB DDR4 | RTX 2080ti OC | 2 TB NVMe SSDs, 1 TB SATA SSD, 12 TB HDDs | Gigabyte DESIGNARE mobo ///
Bourrinopathe Posted March 27, 2015 Author Posted March 27, 2015 (edited) Wonderful! It's possible! More digging with the search tool unveiled the solution : […] just sayin' fc3 owners must download and install standalone su-27 module (over fc3 - dont worry) after that go to ...Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Su-27 folder open the entry.lua file and kill the fc3 primacy/priority in line #15 like this --[[ rules = { ["Flaming Cliffs by Eagle Dynamics"] = { required = false , disabled = true } }, --]] this will allow to show the su-27 icon (next to fc3 icon) & background-theme & su-27 theme-music ;) It allows a better mission/menu items management for the Su-27! HiJack Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Nice find! I'm hoping this will work for the F-15C as well
