Ricardo HD cockpit install problem

Hi all installed as per the instructions on the download for Ricardo HD blue and black cockpits, but nothing shows up in the "Customized Cockpit" menu feature..the path is DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Ka-50\Liveries\Cockpit_Ka-50 correct? My DCS World version is 1.5.3 xxxxx Any pointers on how to install properly?

Those Mods replace the default textures so they will never appear in the Dropdown menu.

Errr..not following...I go into the game and the cockpit is the standard default...??

Actually, no. That's not true any more.

Devrim has been updating the mods and they do now appear in the drop down.

F'instance, I've dropped the black one in:

E:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Ka-50\Liveries\Cockpit_Ka-50\ricardo

And it does correctly show up in the drop down.

I have done hte same...just that mine does not show up in the drop down...perhaps delete and start again...

Alas have followed instructions..but still no joy with install...any help appreciated...

you need to have a descriptor.lua that i don't have. I have the same issue, i put it in the default directory.

Mine has a description.lua in the folder..is that what are you are referring to?

Errr baby talk...unzip downloaded contents to DCS World...right??? Can someone chime in with step by step instructions?

I modded mine March 26, 2016. This still works in 1.5.3 Stable and 2.0 Alpha

and the current 1.5.4 OpenBeta latest update (3 separate sub-directories)
