j0nx Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 I am getting a ton of vegetation flashing when near the ground with the little bushes and grass that pops in and out. The flashing is pretty bad now. I do not get this with 1.5.3. Frusheen Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 I am having the same problem. Grass is flashing and ghosting at low level in VR. This is not the same as the texture flashing in the peripheral of the rift FOV. It's in the entire field of view and clutter/bushes has to be set to 0 as a result or else it makes low level flying in helicopters etc very nauseating in VR. __________________________________________________Win 10 64bit | i7 7700k delid @ 5.1gHz | 32Gb 3466mhz TridentZ memory | Asus ROG Apex motherboard | Asus ROG Strix 1080Ti overclocked Komodosim Cyclic | C-tek anti torque pedals and collective | Warthog stick and throttle | Oculus Rift CV1 | KW-908 Jetseat | Buttkicker with Simshaker for Aviators RiftFlyer VR G-Seat project: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2733051#post2733051
Sharkku Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Same here. Grass flashing in VR. I noticed that the grass only flashes in one eye, if that's any help to the bug hunter... In any case, it's very uncomfortable.
j0nx Posted July 22, 2016 Author Posted July 22, 2016 Is this going to be fixed soon? It's pretty bad now. Frusheen Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 +1. Could we at least have it marked as reported? Low flying in VR has to have clutter bushes set to 0 to be flyable which makes the scenery very flat and bland. __________________________________________________Win 10 64bit | i7 7700k delid @ 5.1gHz | 32Gb 3466mhz TridentZ memory | Asus ROG Apex motherboard | Asus ROG Strix 1080Ti overclocked Komodosim Cyclic | C-tek anti torque pedals and collective | Warthog stick and throttle | Oculus Rift CV1 | KW-908 Jetseat | Buttkicker with Simshaker for Aviators RiftFlyer VR G-Seat project: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2733051#post2733051
