I'm going to record many takes and I figured out I may as well record them in a populated environment rather than in a sterile one-helicopter missions created specifically to do a certain take.

Does anyone have any EDIT DCS BS missions EDIT missions suitable for the purpose 'out of the box'? Populated airbase mission along with a mission with some combat around would be a perfect duo. Terrain preferred: medium elevation to lowlands, parts of terrain newly introduced in DCS, if possible.

If you are bored of setting up units placements, or want get big platoons look get templates from LO\DCS user files web page.

You can add once even 60 tanks in big rectangle\square\triangle setup :)

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

Where can I find taht mission and what is AO? Can I drag multiple groups and drop them somewhere else in the ME?

It's a default mission under the Missions folder, hideout en.miz or hideout ru.miz. AO = Area of Operations, where most of the action happens.

There's a really nice setup of vehicles and troops at the base you take off from. You could move it somewhere else, but not sure the nice spacing would work. :)

OK, thanks kylania

I'm still open for other missions with interesting initial setup. Only initial setup counts. The first five minutes max.

EDIT:

kylania, I don't have any *hide*.miz matches in my whole dcs bs folder. Are you sure you're off Warthog? :D

Dragon's Rookie Terrorists mission is a nice setup. Canyon flying with tight quarters.

Stub wings shot off per your request. :D

No fancy evasive maneuvering though.

Per my request in the other topic that is :D

Thanks anyway. For future contributions - please give time in the submitting tracks where something interesting happens. No need for those, leafer, I got this. But for any others to come.

Thanks!
