Does this work with XBox for Windows controllers? I haven't noticed any and I've checked that the controller force feedback still works in other games. Force feedback option is checked.

If the telegraph pole takes off after you, it is not a telegraph pole.

No - no rumble support in DCS for a "rumble-pad".

Only simulation of hydraulic force on a "real" FFB Stick in DCS:A-10C.

Like: direct moving of the X/Y axis via Trim like in this following video.

Further: buffeting/shaking when near stall speed, and the stick becomes much stiffer when reaching high speeds.

Will that work with a Thrustmaster HOTAS? What types are supported?

No! the TH-warthog is not a FFB stick. It is spring-loaded like almost every normal flight-stick.

The only HOTAS that has FFB is the G940 from logitech.

Rudder paddles are included(!)

But - IMHO - The best FFB stick is till the Microsoft Sidwinder FFB 2... but since about 8 years not in production any-more. (BTW in the video I have posted you see the outcome of two MS-S_FFB_2 sticks with a TM-Cougar.)

There are also some few other "true" FFB models.

Please use this nifty and quite useful link to search for more info ;) : http://www.google.com

BTW:

I'm asking also myself why FFB isn't a common standard for Fligh-simulation...

See- no one would seriously think about driving a racing-sim without a FFB-Sterring-Wheel

- so why most of the Flight-simmers still hold a "Dead" stick in their hand - and just think it has to be that way ?! ... I just think that most of them just really don't know what they miss and what a great helper it is for your situation awareness. - Just think about to instantly feel how you trimmed the plane...

... maybe just because our lobby isn't great enough... like the one for racing-simulations...
