Mt5_Roie Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Anyone having any issues with their usb monitor with the new DCS World? Seems like it won't use them in the sim anymore. The LUA file was still there and selected. Wondered if others with USB monitors experienced this and if they found a work around. Coder - Oculus Rift Guy - Court Jester
brindle Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 They do work in DCS World (set mine up yesterday). I do have a problem with the 'communication menus' being offset from the main monitor. Hence the reason for not being able to use the load-out box. I can however, see the function menus on my right MFCD.
PeterP Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Un-check "disable aero interface" in the "system" tab in-game DCS- than your USB-monitors should work as usual.
Mt5_Roie Posted July 15, 2012 Author Posted July 15, 2012 Thanks PeterP that did the trick!~ Coder - Oculus Rift Guy - Court Jester
TomDK Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Thanks PeterP that did the trick!~ ... expect you use Helios due Helios needs AERO to work propperly. Otherwise it will kill your fps. Cheers Tom My old, sold, pit: http://bilder.einzelart.de/thumbnails.php?album=74&page=3
PeterP Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Tom, please have a look again at my answer:Un-check "disable aero interface" in the "system" tab in-game DCS- than your USB-monitors should work as usual. Un-checking "disable aero interface" does keep Aero on - exactly like you want it when running Helios. So you probably mixed something up in your reply.
TomDK Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Yep ! Thanks again ! I checked it out and works now with this checkbox. AERO is available and 15 fps more ..... Also your pm was read and understood .. again a big THANK YOU peterP ! My old, sold, pit: http://bilder.einzelart.de/thumbnails.php?album=74&page=3
