Namenlos Ein Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 (edited) http://izvestia.ru/news/541639 — in Russian I barely believe my eyes. To be short: Eagle Dynamics and Altwolf (the game developer from Belarus) attempted to create World of Tanks and War Thunder competitor… for every reasonable platform (PC, tablets, Mac), on-line and off-line gameplay, as for tankers and pilots. 104th_Crunch Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 (edited) I guess they are doing what they need to make money, and that is important. I personally have no interest in anything like this. I enjoy simulations to be simulations, and arcade games to be arcade games, and not mix the 2. I wish them best of luck though. I just hope work continues on DCS Fighter and this is not slowing them down. Edited December 18, 2012 by Crunch
Heli Shed Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I just hope work continues on DCS Fighter and this is not slowing them down. Quite. And ensuring that those modules already realeased receive adequate attention for dev and bug fixing, until such times they can be labelled as RC's. I agree with you Crunch, that ED are doing what they need to do to make money. Should it be officially announced on here, then it's probably fair to say that they will receive support, we all know the quality of their products, if a little lax on customer support. Fairplay ED. Do what you need to do to stay competitive and in the market, but try not to foget the rest of us. 'T' Come pay us a visit on YouTube - search for HELI SHED
Pilotasso Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I wouldnt say lax on custumer support, but rather lacking in human resources for such. .

almonds Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 OMG the BMS forums are going to explode  I don't understand the hate :music_whistling: "The art of simulation design is about understanding limited fidelity... ...compromises must be made. Designers have to consider cost vs. fidelity and processor time vs. fidelity. Additional trade-offs must be made between graphics, AI, flight models, number of units and more... ...never ask the pilot what he wants to learn because he too will end up building an airplane. Instead, ask the pilot what he needs to learn." -Gilman "Chopstick" Louie

VincentLaw Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Will it be set in Nevada? It would be pretty cool if Total Combat Strike uses EDGE. Then we might be able to port the maps over to DCS. (or the other way around and play Total Combat Strike: Las Vegas) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
