Dr Zaius Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 (edited) Learning to fly choppers is hard work and i find the game flight mode mode a good way to learn the avionics and employ weapons without having to worry too much about flying/crashing. The game flight mode seems nice and easy for both the mi-8 and ka-50 but the uh-1 still feels too much like a simulation with constant rudder inputs and no hands free hovering, the complete opposite to the other 2. Is this by design / likely to change one day? Buzzles Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 I very much doubt it. The KA-50 and MI-8 both have SAS systems which are helping you fly, the Huey doesn't as it's an older heli. Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!
cichlidfan Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Somewhere EB stated, talking about the Huey, that Game Fllight Mode increased the dampening forces involved. Which I take to mean it is easier not to PIO yourself all over the place, but that is about it. Djent33 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Is this by design / likely to change one day? What would you like to see it changed into? With all due respect. A co-pilot’s control could be an idea to take you for a spin around a countryside.

Just a flight model thats a little easier to control i guess, I thought 'game' mode would feel the same'ish for each aircraft; at least in certain flight conditions like hovering.
