Gerg Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Hi there, i was wondering if theres a way to flash onscreen what buttons and switches im changing? Its mostly to see if the stick commands are taking place or if i missed the button or etc etc, will also help with the FC3 craft as they have static cockpits. Is there a way to turn this on so it displays the button presses like when you use auto start and it flashes everything up that its doing? Would make things easier instead of having to look down all the time to see if the controllers button presses got detected or not. Thanks for look.
ENO Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 So to be clear- you're just looking for a way to see your joystick inputs and if possible your keyboard inputs? One way is through the windows control panel into devices and then device properties... you can see the controller input screen there. There's another command that will show joystick and pedal inputs but I can't for the life of me remember that keystroke. CTRL+ (something)... anyone? cichlidfan Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 RCtrl-enter. Aside from this, which will allow you to see the (in game) movements of your stick, throttle and rudder, the basic answer to your question is no. ENO Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 By stick commands I originally figured he meant stick inputs but after reading it a couple times I saw he was talking button presses on the stick and throttle. Only way to do that is going to be in the control panel... "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret. "Sweetest's" Military Aviation Art
Gerg Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 Haha thanks, yea im a bit crap at explaining things properly. It was mostly to get a text notice on screen about what actions i was taking similar to when auto startup scrolls through what its doing. Flashing up things like "APU Start, Right Engine Select, Airbrake open/closed, Door Closed" etc etc at top of screen. Would help a bit due to mincing the keys/controls while in a panic and not having a quick way to see what ive changed.
ENO Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Ooooooooooh. Then no- I don't think that's available as cich said. "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret. "Sweetest's" Military Aviation Art
