LoneMerc Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 (edited) Could not find anywhere else to put this question. I still a new pilot and just now got Pro Combat pedals waiting on the Hotas still :joystick: my question is the pedal rudder function works fine but I cant not figure out the function of the toe brakes in A10C and Huey. A10C using toe brakes has no function nor can I assign it, any help there? Huey using toe brakes seems to violently control the stick and snaps the main rotor off, I cant find a where to disable this in game. Does the tow brake need to function in these two sims or no ? Any help appreciated. Admin: sorry I see now where I could have posted this move if needed, thanks Edited April 7, 2014 by LoneMerc
cichlidfan Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 It sounds like you have a control conflict in the Huey at least (the Huey has no brakes, btw). They do work in the A-10C. However, the sim does not assign your pedals correctly by default so you have to go into Options>Controls and configure them. EDIT: Note that you will want to use the Axis Tune button to adjust curves and, in the case of the brakes for the A-10C, check the box for 'Invert Axis'. MPalmer Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Check your bindings...they (rudders) are assigned to the X and Y axis for your stick. Ingame (not MP) go to Options, Controls, select the layer (aircraft) and look to see what is controlling your rudder left/right and toe brakes. They are helpful to do hairpin turns or U-turns on the runway and taxiway!
