Cold Start training gets stuck in 1.2.8 Open Beta

Today I found that the cold start training mission gets stuck at the point when one has to turn on AFCS pitch/roll autopilot channels.

 

Neither clicking on the lamp nor the key binding works here and mission can't resume.

 

This is only in the most recent Open Beta version 1.2.8 the case. Old 1.2.7 works

Same problem when doing normal start sequence. How do we get the pitch/ roll autopilot channel to engage now? Not sure about other autopilot channels at this stage.
