169th_Viking Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Hi, Been away for a while, work and work.:( Had some probs with my HOTAS and had to revert to Sidewinder FF2. After 1.12 there seem to have been some changes in the config. Can someone give me some suggestion on a good set-up? I use TIR 3 Pro. Thx for answering.

169th_Viking Posted February 22, 2006 Author Posted February 22, 2006 Done a fresh install yet then applied the patch mate? Yup, Other reasons for not using my CH gear. Just want a good Sidewinder set-up to start with. Tried to sort out how to get the best ways to use the radar modes. I`ll be back! :) Viking.
BIOLOG Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 I got MSFF2 and use keyboard for radar... Also can use HAT-switch for them, but that's a bit booring. P.S. Enjoy the feedback! The bird of Hermes is my name eating my wings to make me tame.
peterj Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 I recently bought a MSFFB2 for €42 + shipping, got it today. It's a superb stick, nice even resistance (independent of "active" FFB effects). I like the AFMs force feedback. The SFM has no evident force fedback, except a rumble on AOA over limit/over G, where can decrease and/or remove this effect? Do you use any other driver than the default XP one, is there a difference?
peterj Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 Or is the only way to completely disable force feedback?
