Set up air combat practice?

Whats the best way to set up for air combat practice, just want to get use to the sim and practice basic air combat.

Instant missions, or just mission editor I guess :P

 

EDIT: oh well you can also create fast missions from the main menu

The mission editor is really simple once you get the hang of it. Setting up a simple air to air mission shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.

open the editor and create some basics szenarios like you and one enemy with 1 radar missile, try to dodge etc. or without missiles -> gunfight or with ir missiles or with you ir and enemy radar -> dodge and then get him etc.
