Mission Creating Guide

Just wondering whether or not there are any videos or detailed guides to creating missions and campaigns. I have searched youtube for mission but they seem to be either overviews or flight tutorials for most of the aircraft in game. I have been reading the dcs manual but things it need to complimented by some sort of tutorial video or even a little online tutorial on how to correctly place unit, created triggers properly etc.

 

Has anything like this been done at all.

I have found a youtube video series however its not in english, but it look and sounds like arabic. So I am looking for a youtube mission creation stuff in english.

The mission editor is in fact not very beginner-friendly. Most of stuff is only poorly documented, lacking intuitive usage in many cases.

Some geniuses managed to get behind all kinds of functionality and to use it efficiently. They also enter code by using LUA-scripting.

After all it seems, this front is left to people that bear enough time to study all mission designing functions by try and error. A well documentation remains to be seen. ED doesn't really touch it.

So I am afraid you have to collect any knowledge piece by piece, roaming across available sources...
