Im getting this error on every server I join... It started happening on 1.2.8. I click join server and it loads then it kicks me out everytime

Try going into your saved games / DCS / config folder and delete the network related config files. You could also just try renaming your dcs config folder to config1 and try connecting.

 

The game will rebuild those files (like hitting the reset button) and if it works then at least you know that the problem was somewhere in that folder. You can then go by process of elimination.

 

If you have complex input configurations, just pull the input folder out of the renamed config folder and put it in the new one created by the game.

 

Try it and report back.

When you connect and see the server list, click below the server list where it says Options and switch connection type to LAN. This usually prevented this from happening, even some servers would write this instruction on their mission briefing so ppl would know.

LAN instructions are completely useless since 127. People need to stop suggesting this. 1024 is generally sufficient unless there is a high AI content in which case 2048 is the HIGHEST setting recommended.
