You mean U tried activating ur license on steam and it did not work?? When did U buy those copies...i bought fc3 from pre-release and that license activated on steam.

 

But if U just bought ur copy, the current news about steam not accepting external keys may be applicable.

ok lets try this a different way. I bought FC 3 for all 3 different versions because the open beta wouldn't use the first one I had so, I bought another reg-key. Then I tried regular and FC3 one I had already bought with ED Version and it wouldn't use it in conjunction with it already in the DCS version I had. So I bought a third one for Steam version of DCS World. At first it was using the original version that I had but stopped working when I DLC the A10A, and the F15C for Steam, the FC3 version disappeared, that's why I rebought FC3 for steam. now the A10A icon disappeared but the F15C stayed in the icon list. So I don't know why I had to pay full pop for FC3 on steam when DCS is selling it half off. and I was using FC3 before on steam and it disappeared when I DLC the F15C, and A10A. So leaving me not able to fly the Mig29, Su33, Su27..:joystick:

 

sorry so confusing, I was just trying to use the Reg-keys from the DCS World from ED site on Steam but they only worked for a couple of down loads updates then they were not there any longer. Because Steam has no Modules installer version in DCS Steam World.

A couple things here:

 

1) Purchasing extra keys will never be necessary solve beta channel access.

2) The separate A-10A and F-15C DLC's contain nothing that FC3 doesn't already contain. You should not install them when having FC3 - gains you nothing.

3) The F-15C icon being visible in the menu after FC3 install is a bug.

 

I'm still not understanding the situation though - from what I can see, there's nothing here that registry deletion would help in, but note that having a module manager or not is irrelevant to that; the registry cleaner will act identically on both platforms - it's acting on the Windows registry, not on game files. What is being activated is the COMPUTER, not the specific game install.

 

The reason why the current price is full on Steam, and discounted here, is that Steam is not running a sale on DCS World right now. It really is that simple. Sometimes one store will have a discount on Corn Flakes and another won't, even though both carry the same brand of Corn Flakes. And in this specific case, again, I do not believe that re-purchasing was, in any way, a necessary part of solving the issue.

 

If the problem is that you cannot access the open beta, could you describe the steps you took in setting it up?
