cfarsr Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I've never actually gotten around to flying the campaign until this morning and I noticed that the handling seems to have been dumbed down. For example in taking off, you apply counter torque on the pedals in normal situations however in the campaign, it appears that you don't need to apply any counter torque on the pedals. Surely I'm not the only who has noticed this but I couldn't find it mentioned anywhere else when I searched. Any ideas?

When I flew the campaign, I didn't notice anything unusual in the helicopter's behavior, but admittedly that was a good while ago and I haven't touched the UN Pilot Campaign since then. Just to be sure, you didn't accidentally check "Game Flight Mode" in the Options?
cfarsr Posted June 19, 2014 Author Posted June 19, 2014 I just tried again and while it's still easy to lift up and hover without using the pedals, I rotated 180 degrees while still in a hover and found myself needing to add more pedal than usual to hover. My guess is Belsimtek was being nice and dialed in just the right amount of wind to take off for the first mission.
