SU-25T Training: CCIP Bombing - can't progress, am I stupid?

Hi all! I've recently purchased DCS World and a number of the game packs, and I am really keen on trying to learn it all.

 

I'm having trouble on one of the SU-25T training missions though, really hoping you can help.

 

The mission guy talks me through some basics, and then tells me to fly through the gates ahead. There are around 5 gates, one after the other. Once I get through the 5th one, nothing happens. There are no more gates and the mission does not progress.

 

Am I missing something, maybe there is a gate I am not seeing - or perhaps there is something else I need to do?

I can't help you with your specific problem but can point you to Youtube.

 

There are more than enough real good vids about each and every DCS Module.

 

For the Toad, make yourself invulnerable, never-ending ammo and get going, learning by doing after you got the basics of the Su-25T and then get back to YT or here if you get stuck with specific problems.

 

I own them all and have to admit, nowadays I mostly fly SEAD in the TOAD.

 

Nothing is more thrilling than going through the valleys, dodging Eagles, evading Radar tracking,

low and fast, then POP UP to 5k, switch on ECM and IR jammer and pray to get close enough to fire them all (Kh58 and 25-MPU ) against a Patriot. The Toad is the only plane capable of doing this in DCS and it is real fun if you like low-level fun through the valleys and mountains.

Just tried it ... most likely you missed one gate. Listen closely to the instructor, he tells you for the first few gates in which direction they are.

 

edit: disregard this ... I just realized I flew the wrong mission. :o)

Its possible you are missing the next gate which is below you.

Since every "gate" is a waypoint, your required heading to the next gate shows the HSI (course, distance etc... )
