I need help. All items have been purchased from the ED store and none from Steam. I have the following items so far downloaded to the latest current versions for all module versions 1.2.8.. Here is what I have acquired and wondering what else do I have to download before I begin my install.

I have downloaded D.C.S World. 1.2.8. . (No Update ran yet) Do I need to update immediately or wait until my modules get installed and then run the updater?

I have the BS 1 CD & downloaded the BS 1.0.1.c update. (This should be all I need right?)

I have the module for BS2 1.2.8. Upgrade from BS1 and downloaded the Update Patch 1.1.1.1 for BS2. (This should be all I need, right?) I had the CD version and then I bought the Update version from ED store.

I have the A-10C module downloaded 1.2.8.. Do I need to download and install the updates starting with 1.1.0.6 to1.1.1.0? (6 different updates, or do I need only 1 specific vs all 6?)

I have the module for FC3 1.2.8. (No updates found?)

I have been searching forums and I cannot seem to comprehend on how to get all these files to collaborate with the D.C.S World. It is hard to find some straight answers because of all the problems that has been reported because of Steam related issues.I do think I have done my homework so far and I just need someones input on how they would go about the installation part and what all information I provided; may need some correcting? Any input is greatly appreciated! :)

If you want the installation as simple as possible.

Just install the DCSW, then enter the game, login in the manager. After that DCSW will automatically install all the modules you have (So do not forget to bind all your keys to your ED account)

Install the modules, then run the update. At least that's what I did.

When you go through the installation wizard for BS2, make sure you select "Black Shark 2 Upgrade version" when it asks what serial version you want.

And no. This is not IL-2 1946, you don't have to install all the updates one after the other :P Simply download the latest 1.2.8 version of everything and install into the latest version of DCS World.

The method that uboats posted looks really simple, I didn't even know you could do that I'll try it next time I buy a new module :)

In that way, all the modules will be automatically activated. No need to enter KEY manually.

DCSW is what I thought I read somewhere was what is used for loading the modules into DCSW. I just have to use the login info I provided when I purchased the modules from what I have gathered. I was used to way back in the day you had to keep every file updated and patched manually, it has been a long while so I am still learning. Thanks for the info, I will end up probably trying DCSW first and if that fails at least I will know that I will have to load everything manually then apply the DCSW update(s). Thanks again for the HELP!

The method that uboats posted worked for all modules except for the BS2 module. I had to install my BS1 CD into DCSW and then was able to download and run the BS2 update. This method worked flawlessly since my keys were all bound to 1 account when I updated DCSW thru Mod Manager. I did have to re-enter my module key codes which activated with no problems. Thanks for the advice and just thought I'd share my experience with a flawless install.
