Normandy_Map.jpg

E.D. really likes these small maps. Assuming the Normandy map follows the same 390km x 390km formula, this should give you an overall picture of what could be included. I did not orient this pic North and South for a reason. If E.D. lines it out this way, it would include most of the important "Fighter Bases" that took part in the battle, but also the Cities of london and Paris..... just a thought. -Woog

The small maps have been about developing the new map tools and new rendering system, as they find out how it all works we may start seeing bigger maps (see my sig).

I don't know how successful it would be, but I'd certainly back a Kickstarter raising money for more WWII period maps. I also consider the Korean air war to be an extension of WWII combat in many ways, since the planes basically took prop systems and stuck a jet engine in it. I'd certainly back a Korean map, and will be lining up to get the Mig-15 the minute it's for sale.

I know how you feel, but somehow I think ED will avoid kickstarter projects like the plague from here on. None so far has fulfilled it's promises, and ED or others have had to bite the bullet, and honour the agreements as best they can. All credit to them for their support on that.
