VikingTsunami Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 I found out about this game with some old friends from the Netherlands ;) They play it a lot, and I always have liked flightsims, I have all Microsoft Flight simulator games, and some years back when I was younger I loved the play those games, but it was no action in it so I stopped playing them, and finally I find this game, I download the demo, and it's just awesome, very advance and realistic like hell, and a lot of ACTION, I am 16 years old, and I will buy the game when I can afford it, next weekend probaly, I will also buy the Saitek X52 joystick, well on the start it was a VERY hard game to play, and I still don't get a lot of stuff, so, can you guys tell me how to take on guided ground missiles on the A10 ? + On the tutorials I saw you can move the mouse and push on thing, how do you do that? I tried holding shift and stuff but It doesn't work, thanks for the best action flightsim ever ;) [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic18896_1.gif[/sIGPIC]
Pilotasso Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 This game also has an addon to go around wich improves the game ALOT. It can be be downloaded for 15$. IF you can refrain yourself a bit from the X52, I would try it before getting the stick. .

169th_Dredd Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 Welcome to the LockOn community. :) Make sure you go through the ingame training tracks, and there is also some excellent tutorials made by Ironhand. There is so much to learn in this sim, but once you have learnt the fudamentals of avionics, weapon systems, and navigation.. your online experience will be like no other. Good luck with the training pilot! BIOLOG Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 Welcome! Yeh, the game is hard at first, it takes about half a year to get properly into it, and possibly a yer to get good at it... Unless you play a lot, and only concentrate only on one plane... But as ppl mentioned hyperlobby experience is awesome...:D The bird of Hermes is my name eating my wings to make me tame.
