KrizzKaliko
so I just bought a X-55 Rhino stick and i forgot to ask the most important question! After setting up keys and such, how do you use it. I am not an idiot i mean with all the switches and screens to interact with, do you put the stick on your lap then use the mouse for certain things? I know this sounds dumb I just wanted to know how people played. Also I downloaded a mod for the Su that changes the cockpit to English, but I cannot figure out how to install it, can someone give me a quick guide?:book:
winchesterdelta1
Hey. Put the stick on your right hand side on the table or whatever and put the Throttle on your left hand side. For the Addon you try to install, check if there is a readme/manual provided whit the files or on the website. Go in close, and when you think you are too close, go in closer. davedontmind
Most mods I've used support JSGME , which will manage your mods and install them for you. I installed JSGME, changed its shortcut to start in <my DCSWorld folder>, then in my DCSWorld folder, created a folder called _MODS, and put all my mods as subfolders inside _MODS, so I have: X:\ | +- DCS World | +- _MODS | +-- Some Mod | +-- Another Mod Then just run JSGME & enable the mods you want. NB: This only works for mods that are designed to be used by JSGME. Check the mod you have to see if there's a README file.

BadK
Remember to try and model your stick and throttle buttons to what plane you are setting up for. A HOTAS setup, button-wise, will simplify your workload throughout you flights. I model my CH controls according to the setup in the manual for both A-10C and F-15C. I'm typing this from my phone and would send you the manuals if I could. Hoping somebody will give a link before I can get back to the thread. Remember, no question is a dumb question;) BadK MSI Z270 Gaming M7 Core I7 7700K @ 5.0 GHz MSI GTX 1080Ti Gaming Trio Corsair Vengence DDR4 2666 32GB Corsair LE SSD 960GB Corsair HX 650W Corsair H100i v2 Corsair 460X Case Windows 10 Pro 64 CH Products (FS, PT, PP) Oculus CV1
