LcSummers Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Hi, i am a little bit confused about Wags startup tutorial. With an drop tank under the belly, Wags is activating E14, the forward fuel pump. The manual instead says that with an external fuel tank, the pump should not be switched on, only after the drop tank is empty, and E85 is turned off. S!

Mobius_cz Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 I know what he means, he is talking about the second circuit breaker. Wags pushed everything but in the manual is "When a drop tank is attached, in the beginning the forward fuselage tank fuel pump shouldn’t be switched on. Fuel from the forward tank will still feed the engine pump (on condition the fuel selector is on “Auf”, that is how it should be), but it will feed only due to gravity, so at a much slower rate than the rear tank, with its pump on. Necessary for correct center of gravity position". I am doing this by the manual so forward fuel pump set to off. [sIGPIC]http://dcs-uvp.cz/images/userbars/uvp_bars_mic.gif[/sIGPIC]
