Is there a standalone version of BS 2?

Is there a standalone version of BS 2? If so, is it in addition to BS 1 or does it replace it? If it replaces it, is there a framerate hit?

 

I already have Blackshark 2 as part of DCS World.

There is no standalone version of BS2 anymore. Blackshark 2 in DCS World is the actual updated version of the Blackshark 2 at the momment.

If you have a serial number for BS2 it should still work with 1.1.1.1 standalone:

I imagine purchasing BS2 for DCS World would have a backward compatible serial number, but that is better answered by somebody at ED.

DCSW:KA50 and BS2 FULL License both use Starforce Proactive,

 

A License Should be Eligible for both DCS:World KA-50 Module, as well as DCS: Black Shark 2,

I bought BS2 1.1.1.1 Full from Game Fly I believe (Have to Double Check), But I have Both 1.1.1.1 and DCSW Activated with the same License.

Though I think the last HDD Clean up I deleted both my BS2 and A-10C 1.1.1.1 Installs.

 

Not sure if Newly purchased Licenses work or not, but I see no reason why they wouldn't.

(ie new license keys might use a different application id or something along those lines, but I doubt it).

 

 

TBH there isn't really a reason to run 1.1.1.x over DCSW Modules, unless you're running a system that cannot run DCSW (32-bit and what not)
