aracas11 Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 I have noticed that above mach 0.75 the sabre won`t do an axial roll to the left getting only 3/4 of the way round and then making a funny repeating high pitch click , it will do a full high speed roll to the right no problem. I have my controls window open so can see i`m getting full roll command in both directions and am aware of and have experienced uncommanded pitching and rolling at high transonic speed but this feels like a bug ?.
Thomasew Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Hi, Yup, .. noticed that as well. I think the sound you refer to, .. is the 'heavy breathing' sound, .. playing in fast forward. :joystick: It's almost like the G forces have gone nuts ... Cheers Tom He Who Will Not Risk Cannot Win
NeilWillis Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 What altitude are you seeing this phenomenon? Are you flying close to the edge of the envelope?
159th_Viper Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Kindly post a track if you please, preferably an air-start custom mission devoid of any units barring the airframe, illustrating the perceived problem/issue in the shortest possible time. Thomasew Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Hi, Here's a short track .. just after I reach 450, .. I try to roll left, .. which results in the weirdness/clipping sounds. I can still kinda roll right. Hope that suffices. Cheers TomNo Left.trk He Who Will Not Risk Cannot Win
aracas11 Posted August 20, 2014 Author Posted August 20, 2014 It seems to start happening when you get above mach 0.75
