JupiterJoe Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 EDTracker is an open-sourced 3 Axis head-tracking kit (http://edtracker.org.uk/). I would like to assign the two of the three axis to the view Axis in DCS world. The game is set-up so that the mouse has sole control and I am unable to bind the EDTracker to the different view axis. Can anybody help? Intel Core i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz - 64GB RAM - Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 - Microsoft Sidewinder Force-feedback 2 - Virpil Mongoose CM-3 Throttle
Abburo Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 (edited) EDTracker is a quite new apparition, however he's birth is wrong. Not sure how to make DCS to see this device. Please consider any 6 axis headtracker available insted that one which is limited to 3. As options you have Freetrack, Facenoir as freeware and TrackIR as comercial product. JupiterJoe Posted September 4, 2014 Author Posted September 4, 2014 As it is the game uses only two axis of the mouse to look around. The mouse wheel simulates the Z axis by zooming in and out. The EDtracker shows-up as an input device in the game, but does not allow you to bind to the view axis. I wonder if it's possible to change a config file or something. The DCS UI is getting quite old. Intel Core i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz - 64GB RAM - Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 - Microsoft Sidewinder Force-feedback 2 - Virpil Mongoose CM-3 Throttle
