Guest Po1ar Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 I am becoming interested in LOMAC after positive feedback for flaming cliffs and the tantalizing possibilities presented by black shark. I have a couple questions to anyone willing to answer. Is the LOMAC Manual published by lomac-manual.com obsolete with the (newer) documentation provided with Flaming Cliffs? That is, does the Flaming Cliffs manual cover the entire simulation in appropriate depth, or only the Su-25? If not, has the lomac-manual.com site moved, or is it permanently shut down? Will there be a "PLATINUM" version published when/after Black Shark is released, including everything from LOMAC on up? My apologies if these questions have been covered elsewhere within the forums. Thanks ahead of time for any feedback.
chrno120 Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 It think the GoGamer site has the latest version of the manual In terms of depth, yes.. each aircraft have their own advance flight model, take A-10A for example, it's corner speed should be near it's stall speed while the F-15C should be around 350-400 knots on light loads I don't know about Platinum versions though.. If you want, go get yourself some Lock On Flamming Cliffs, It's much better to buy at Lock On.ru than Lock On Gold because some of the initial Flaming Cliffs CD in that packaged have problems and wont run.. Alfa Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Hi, With Lock-on 1.1 "Flaming Cliffs" came a new manual in PDF format, which apart from covering the added Su-25T, also is a much improved version of the original Lock-on manual. Recently this new Lock-on 1.1 manual has been made available in printed ring binder format and can be purchased seperately both from GoGamer.com and from the official lockon.ru website. Cheers, - JJ. Jumper Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Hi Guys I am a new user to this FS and have now installed Lock On and Flaming Cliffs with all the required patches. I have just downloaded the Manual and very surprised that there is no Key Listings that can be printed off. Is there anywhere I can obtain one? Thanks for any help.
Cobra360 Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 It's on your PC. Go to C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\Doc and you have all the key listings although not in a keyboard format.
Ice Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Regarding the Manual. My Company "We Are Computers Pty Ltd" Will be the official distributor for the Lock-On/Flaming Cliffs manual, the CD Version of Flaming Cliffs and when released, Black Shark in Australia. Pricing still to be verified but it will be cheaper than importing yourself and quicker delivered once in stock (middle of April most likely). We will be accepting online deposits or Credit Card.
Dusty Rhodes Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 The Flaming Cliff's manual will be available in Mid April (most likely) or the Black Shark manual?
