justinl9977 Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Hi, I'm trying to update DCS world to the latest version (1.2.10 32095 Update 1) but I get HTTP Error 499 when the updater tries to download the latest patch. Can anyone please let me know what this error means and how to fix it? I'm using the standalone version of the program if that makes any difference. Thanks!

mibo Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Have the same problem. Also had it with the previous patch 1.2.10. 30996.495 so I was said to uninstall DCS world and DCS user files. I also stopped the Antivirus. It downloads only about 1/3 to almost half of the 858.7 Mb. Now even after the new installation with F-86 the downloads stops after a while. So the problem persists. It is impossible to make updates. Furthermore the F-86 does not work in cold start. Mouse click over cockpit buttons functions but the button go on and off. Battery?Generator switch = no reaction also Throttle is stuck and can't be moved with controller nor with mouse. Any idea? Thanks

Since yesterday I have red all the post concerning update issues it took me more than 4 hours. Have found no solution. My problem is not that I have disappeared mods, everything works except that I can't download the latest version. Had the same issue with the previous version when i started a complete reinstall of DCSW and DCS user files with no results. NOW IT IS THE SAME, Normally customer's service is quick but they have not responded to me yet. The DOWNLOAD initiates and then just stops when it reaches about 40% of the total download. It seems as it is a internet issue but it is not! 2). Further in my new installed F-86F many things do not function, especially at the clean start up mission. It starts with the window+home key. Further to the issues of the previous post sometimes the reticule on the hud is not visible, but I know it is a Beta.... 3). With my new installation from scratch i copied some older files in my DCS user folder. All my medals etc and flying time show up. When I fly the F-86F the log book does not record any flights all is "0"hours,,, I copied from the old DCS user only the folders that had more content in Kb/Mb some new ones had even more content than the old ones, these I left alone. Maybe i missed up something .Can any body help with the 3 issues, please? Thanks

brontolo Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Update: after shutting off the antivirus and launched the upgrader, it is possible reactivate the antivirus without interrupting the download. So I remain unprotected for only a few seconds. Better than nothing... Brontolo VIAF

Technical Service of Kaspersky Antivirus asked me the url from which I receive the automatic updates released to make it reliable, but I don't know it. Anybody can help me?
