Cool Vid. Can the missile actually do that? I noticed when he went offensive on the SU-35 that the missile did a complete 180. Or thats what it looked like. That was pretty awesome.

Okey..

so USAF F-22 motto is "No one comes close" http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1187028439851024536&q=eurofighter&pl=true

and EUROFIGHTER's is "Nothing comes close" http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5755600321297403594&q=eurofighter

pretty original, eh?

Biggest crap vids i have ever seen, next to "behind enemie lines". I hate this kind of promo vids, they always present a "clean" war, which will never be. And by the way, missiles travel like 2 or 3 times the speed of sound, a jet will never be able to "outrun" a missile this way, only when the missile is out of fuel. Lockon pilots should kno that. And Swartz, it is only possible for missiles to make a 180 if the heat sensor and/or the radar of the missile/plane can look that kind of degree. Missiles become more and more manouverable these days, but this i havent seen this performed yet. I don't believe it can be done, thats why something like a cobra exists, there is a reason why the americans make the F-22 able to do a cobra. If you have missiles able to do a 180 you will not need it.

Yeah I also feel like that.

The camera shots during SAM launch are almost totally copied from Behind enemy lines.

You can tell they try`d to make it look simaler to the film :D

But the best form of flattery is imitation they always say.

Besides the scene is B.E.L. is quite a good sequance, its the rest of the bent nose film thats pants lol

Actually they use a helmet mounted sight to track the target, and the IRIS-T is VERY manouverable, it's much better then AIM-9X.

so it might be possible do have a missile doing a 180
