astrospud Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Can anyone tell me what the full defelction angle of the Ka-50 collective is, from floor to full blade pitch? Thx :) Rectum non bustus
astrospud Posted September 26, 2014 Author Posted September 26, 2014 So, I'm guessing no one knows. Else, can mods pls move this thread to the inputs/outputs forum. I think maybe I should've posted there. Rectum non bustus
nickexists Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Are you asking about the rotor blades or the collective itself?
astrospud Posted September 27, 2014 Author Posted September 27, 2014 The collective bar itself. I'm assuming at rest, it's horizontal to the cockpit floor, but I need to know the full deflection up angle (to the cockpit floor). Rectum non bustus
Isegrim Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 If____ it has not to be 1000% exact. A good match should be if you do a fist and hold your Hand down sideways to your chair with your Arm 95& straight, for the lower position. Now take it up till the downside of your Hand(still as fist) is one line with the upside of your upper leg. "Blyat Naaaaa" - Izlom

BitMaster Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Oh, misunderstood the question then. There is this Kamov Movie, it's in russian with subs on YT but it may have some scenes in it that let you figure how much it could be... anyway, worth watching it if you love the Kamov. astrospud Posted September 30, 2014 Author Posted September 30, 2014 To be clear, I'm designing a collective controller and was hoping for an accurate figure. I guestimated a value of 16 degrees from rest, so I figure Bitmaster is the closest response so far. Rectum non bustus
