dburne Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 I have been having this for a while, and am just curious if anyone else has seen/heard this. When I move my Warthog Y axis, namely pushing the stick forward, about 2/3rd of the travel I get a small " clicking" sound. Now, if I happen to be holding the paddle switch in whilst moving, I do not get that sound. But without holding the paddle switch, which is how I would move it during flying the vast bulk of the time, I get the clicking sound. Does not seem to effect anything in regard to functionality, just odd that it would be there. I do also have some slop now in the center, mainly in the Y axis, that I have allowed for by putting a deadzone in my Target script in my profiles. I don't think these two are related though. Perhaps over the fall/winter I will go ahead and attempt to re-grease this thing, have been wanting to give that a go but hesitant as I am worried I will break some wires or something. Lausbub78 Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 The sound you hear is the paddle switch which has a little bit of play. If you look below the paddle you can see a small screw, tightening it a bit will propably remove the play. The play you have in the Y axis is normal, mine has some play in the X axis. Propably it's because of the Gimbal construction. Not much one can do about it.
dburne Posted September 27, 2014 Author Posted September 27, 2014 Ah ok I see that now, many thanks!
