Ramstein Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I have just started noticing that I am having problems with the F-15C when I taxi, I am having turning. It is like it no longer does sharp turns. The front wheel only turns with the rudders. What happened? I used to be able to very sharp turns while I taxi. :helpsmilie: ASUS Strix Z790-H, i9-13900, WartHog HOTAS and MFG Crosswind G.Skill 64 GB Ram, 2TB SSD EVGA Nvidia RTX 2080-TI (trying to hang on for a bit longer) 55" Sony OLED TV, Oculus VR
Corrigan Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Hold down NWS key! (S, I think?) Win10 x64 | SSDs | i5 2500K @ 4.4 GHz | 16 GB RAM | GTX 970 | TM Warthog HOTAS | Saitek pedals | TIR5
Ramstein Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 I found some **New** ?? nose wheel commands in the Controls section of F-15C DCS. I set some keys for the nose wheels commands for nose wheel. Now I can turn very sharp, when I use both my rudder and the key command together. It is more of a :joystick: pain because now I have to let go of the stick to press more keys. Corrigan Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I mapped it to the NWS button on my Warthog, works great. Win10 x64 | SSDs | i5 2500K @ 4.4 GHz | 16 GB RAM | GTX 970 | TM Warthog HOTAS | Saitek pedals | TIR5
Azrayen Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Anyway, you don't need to keep the stick in hand while taxiing, do you?
Python Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Yeah, finding the S key was a huge relief after the introduction of the pfm ;) I keep meaning to map it to a more convenient control. Does anybody know where it is in the real thing? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
