Archer7 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I tried binding the Screenshot command to the Apps button today and it didn't work. Does screenshooting only work if you have the command bound to PrtScn?
cichlidfan Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 AFAIK, yes. EtherealN Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 AFAIK, the function uses the windows Print Screen function, which is what the "PrtScn" button on your keyboard is there for. ;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Daniel "EtherealN" Agorander | Даниэль "эфирныйн" Агорандер Intel i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz, ASUS GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB, Samsung 830series 512GB SSD, Corsair AX850w, two BENQ screens and TM HOTAS Warthog DCS: A-10C Warthog FAQ | DCS: P-51D FAQ | Remember to read the Forum Rules | | | Life of a Game Tester
Archer7 Posted October 10, 2014 Author Posted October 10, 2014 Unfortunately using PrtScn to take screenshots causes conflicts with other software for me.
Bounder Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 You can launch your standalone (non-Steam) version of DCS through Steam (if you have it) as a non-Steam game and then use the F12 to take screenshots (or whatever button you have bound). Alternatively, you could use video capture software e.g. Fraps to take screenshots. My PC specs: Win10 64 Pro, CPU i7-3820 4.4GHz, 16GB RAM, GPU Nvidia 1070 (8gb vram). Controls: Microsoft FFB2, Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle, MFG Crosswind Pedals, TrackIR5. My DCS Youtube Videos https://www.youtube.com/user/No64Bounder
