N3rdshack252 Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Just here to gauge an interest in making a Casual Gaming Community for games such as Destiny, Battlefield 4, DCS World (Digital Combat Simulator)... and maybe more in the future. We will be running on GMT time as we are based in the UK :) Just here to see who would be up for it within a community of likeminded individuals willing to just have a laugh and progress in the chosen game :) If you have any interest please check this out and ask me any questions here or in the sub reddit :) Thank You N3rdshack252

N3rdshack252 Posted October 13, 2014 Author Posted October 13, 2014 oh, for a second I thought you said you were playing casual games, I was gonna say, umm.... no DCS is not a casual game. :) No what I meant is thst the community will be casual... not the games. Just a group of like minded people that gather maybe once or twice a week to play A game such as DCS World. With people making missions within the community and just generally having fun with it :) I am sorry for not making myself clear buddy I do realise that this game is not casual as there is alot of practice and time to be spent before you can fully utilise anything in this type of simulator. runny Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Thing is, you say casual and then you say maybe you'll meet up ones or twice a week, and you'll be like minded. Ok, but are the meets required? Because it's not very casual to have rules about attendance. Then again nobody wants a squad full of people who never play. Do you have to be like minded? What is like minded because I can't read your mind. If we're not like minded then maybe we'd run into some issues so maybe you'd have to make some sort of guidelines on how and what to play right? Again, a step away from casual. I'm not saying your idea sucks, obviously many people do start successful casual groups. All I'm saying is that starting a group isn't a trivial thing to do, and no matter how casual it is, leading it will be serious business. The only exception I can see is if you're already playing with like-minded people and you're not open to taking more into the group. Then I can see how you slap tags onto what already exists and call it a squadron.
bkrull Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Good idea I think it's a good idea. I'm interested.
