Oculus rift setup in DCS

Getting back into DCS after a long hiatus, now with a DK2 strapped to my bonce, I've a few questions;

 

 

1. 
   
2. I can get it all working okay, but the in-flight pause menus doesn't work in the dk2 so I have to use task manager to get back to the DCS start menu. Is there a workaround? (or is that the workaround :smilewink:)
   
3. Are you DK2 users super sampling from 2560x1440 down to 1080P to improve text legibility? That works wonders in Elite: Dangerous, but I couldn't tell the difference in DCS.
   

After using TrackIR for years I never realised how SMALL the Ka50 cockpit is! Its tiny!! Awesome feeling of being there though. Much better than TrackIR even in lo res.

Check out the detailed rift discussion on page 2 of this forum. Like you, I've been a long time DCS player but drifted out of the game but with the Rift (arriving Friday) I plan on getting back into this game as quickly as possible. There are detailed threads on all the issues with rift, how to get it going, workarounds, all that sort of thing, that I've been following with lust for the last several weeks. I'm sure you'll find the info you're looking for. Unfortunately for me altho the rift arrives this week i'll be out of country until December. I plan on spending the majority of my 3 weeks home sitting in my pit!

For question number 1 if you uncheck full screen in options it should take care of the inflight pause menu. Just do big circles with your mouse to find it. Also, you have to do a "L-alt C" for the clickable mouse in the cockpit.
