  1. Cook - Where did you learn more about overclocking? Thx!
  2. You must go to settings and be sure not in full screen mode. My rift is secondary monitor and mouse click is fine in cockpit.
  3. ...Hmmmm.....don't know about that one deadman. I'm seeing quite a few you tube DCS videos where people are showing how they no longer use that old stuff because the Rift is so much more real and fun. :music_whistling: .....just sayin'.
  4. Have you flown with the Oculus Rift DK2? It is as if you are sitting in the cockpit. So awesome.
  5. Thanks for the help. I can't use full screen with DK2 because the mouse won't show.
  6. Is there any way to minimize DCS?
  7. That is correct sir. Everything works great.
  8. I'm running the new SDK with DK2 and have no issues at all. Looks great.
  9. I've used the Playseat Flightseat for about 1 year and I love it. I couldn't imagine using anything else. It goes together very fast and the backrest will fold down so I can put in in my car to use for flying RC aircraft FPV (First Person View) outdoors. If you are thinking about getting a Playseat I wouldn't hesitate. Worth every penny. I also use the Oculus DK2 for DCS and with the playseat it is as if you are actually sitting in the cockpit. I've got ZERO complaints.
  10. Regardless of what I do, the only tab that is active in mission editor is the left-most tab. All of the others are blacked out. It will not let me select them.
  11. Could someone tell me how to apply a skin? I click on the airplane in mission editor and the tab that has the skins is blacked out. It won't let me choose it.
  12. I replied. Instructions didn't work. And there is no "payload" tab.
  13. Is it just for jets or does it include prop fighters also? Could not find that on the site.
  14. JST - I just did this and the skin is still showing as the default 56/
  15. You are the best JST. Thank you.
  16. I wouldn't buy any of that stuff. If you are not flying DCS with the Oculus Rift DK2 then you are not flying DCS. It is as if you are actually sitting in the cockpit.
  17. All that is good and fine. But for me, there is no disputing that Oculus DK2 with DCS in a Mustang or FW 190 is amazing.
  18. This is the same thing I am experiencing. I can get on the ground, that is not the issue. I just took off for the first time in the Mustang last night. I actually started with the Dora. Anyway, I took off and landed on my first try with the Mustang and have ZERO issues taking off and landing with it....touch and go's....anything....no issues - from my very first attempt. Something is wrong with the Dora landing algorithm. I don't know what it is, but something is a tad off. Either way, I enjoy flying it.
  19. For question number 1 if you uncheck full screen in options it should take care of the inflight pause menu. Just do big circles with your mouse to find it. Also, you have to do a "L-alt C" for the clickable mouse in the cockpit.
  20. Great work Diveplane. How do you add those to DCS? I've never put in new audio. Edit: nevermind, I got it all set up - thx!
  21. On the DK2 you can put your head out the window. It is cool looking down the fuselage. This isn't me:
  22. Well, I will continue to practice. I use the G940. It could possibly be sensitivity in the pedals. I can get on the ground, but after that the slow fishtailing begins. Either way, for me DCS is so good in DK2 that I could get over any issues. If none of you have tried this in DK2 then you have not flown DCS.
  23. Landing FW 190 It is extremely difficult to land the FW 190, and I believe it is actually more difficult in DCS than the actual plane. I've watched the landing video and I stay in the 190 range with descent between 2 and 5, but it still will not sit down on the runway after a lot of attempts. It is almost to the point of unplayable. I understand that you need to make it difficult, but I think it has gone beyond the extreme.
