Jamesp1 Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 I want to buy in the Steam sale and use in the non-Steam version, by the way... Is it better to buy each of the FC3 planes seperately for DCS World or just buy FC3 (i.e. does FC3 include all the planes for use inside DCS World)?
AceRevo Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 (edited) EDIT: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=125452 You can buy content from Steam and merge it with the ED game from their homepage. You cannot merge modules bought from the homepage to use within the Steam verision. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2158603&postcount=239 FC3 includes F-15C, A-10A, Su-27, Su-33, MiG-29A, MiG-29S and Su-25. We got a updated version of the F-15, A-10 and Su-25 with AFM (or is it PFM???), and the Su-27 coming up next. Dont expect them to stop there! If you only want the F-15 or the Su-27, you dont need them all.. But then agian, if u do get them all, you wont have to worry about your pocket next time theres a update to one of these planes that you really want. Maybe a Su-33 or a Mig-29 at a level of the F-15c? Edited October 31, 2014 by AceRevo X-55 profile for the F-15C

Jamesp1 Posted October 31, 2014 Author Posted October 31, 2014 Great, I'll get FC3 then. Thanks for the clarification AceRevo!
Ramsay Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Is it better to buy each of the FC3 planes seperately for DCS World or just buy FC3 (i.e. does FC3 include all the planes for use inside DCS World)? IMO it's better to buy FC3 as it's a good value package when bought in a sale. I started with the individual A-10A and Su-25 modules (as FC3 wasn't available on steam at first) but eventually bought FC3 for the additional aircraft/missions. I don't fly FC3 aircraft very much/at all but they are supported by many servers (PvP dogfights, etc.) and it's always nice to have the option to drop into a FC3 aircraft or if the other player slots are taken. i9 9900K @4.8GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 11 Pro x64, Odyssey G93SC 5120X1440
Boris Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 The only advantage to buying the separate modules is to have more icons at the bottom, extra wallpapers and more menu music.
