ShuRugal Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 This is a problem that has carried over from older version, but is much more problematic with the new flight model. I have observed on numerous occaisions that with more than a very brief (over 0.75s) very minor (-1G or greater) application of negative G forces, the SU-27 pilot blacks out and stays that way until the aircraft crashes. I usually run into this problem when i have been shot: plane goes into some manner of spin and pilot blacks, thus making ejection impossible. The problem is that even once the aircraft has stabilized, the pilot remains blacked out. In my most recent event, the pilot stayed blacked out as the aircraft floated down to the water in a perfectly stable inverted posture. Completely recoverable situation, but i ended up crashing because the pilot was dead at the stick from being flipped over.

BitMaster Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 To some extend, this is/was also a cool feature cause I was able to achieve that by just using the chute and wheel brakes on the runway.... way cool. The Pilot did recover btw.
