What's the diff? mods/aircrafts or mods/aircraft?

What is the difference between the mods/aircrafts and mods/aircraft folders??? Is this just a dev typo that has caused files to move to a new folder? The old (correct) folder was called aircrafts, right? And now there is a new folder called aircraft for some reason? Or is it the other way around? I am confused..

I had some mods that went to the mods/aircrafts folder that now do not work. But there are still files in that folder. So, this is confusing... Do I still need that aircrafts folder, or is everything now in the aircraft folder (without the 's').

Mods/aircrafts is left over after they updated the folder to Mods/aircraft. In most cases the Mods/aircrafts folder can be removed, it may have some custom items you have added in it and thats why it remains.
