F86 SABRE

Morning i've just downloaded the F86 and started having a look around it went to the training section and there isn't any no training whatsoever is this normal ? unlike the Mig 21 which has training.

 

And my sabre doesn't have a mirror finish to its skin its a dull silver again is this normal ?

The dull silver is a limitation of the graphics engine right now. As soon as EDGE is released (this year, if everything works like it is planned by ED) we will get the pretty polished metal look you can see in some screenshots by ED.

 

As for the training... I don't know, I used the real world manuals and YT vids to teach myself flying the F-86.

.....just go to youtube and search DCS F-86 tutorials......sometimes the tutorials done by some of the guys on youtube are better than the training tutorials in game.......each time i get a new module its........DCS on computer and tutorial on the smart phone to walk through it a few times.....hope it helps.....cheers

And while waiting for the EDGE, if You want to have your F-86 much more "shiny", go to the "User files" section of DCS website and get some skins by BoNidle.

Bunyap has some awesome tutorial vids, the test flight series has helped me tremendously.
