rrohde Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 yeah, cool, and happy birthday :) just sayin' fc3 owners must download and install standalone su-27 module (over fc3 - dont worry) after that go to ...Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Su-27 folder open the entry.lua file and kill the fc3 primacy/priority in line #15 like this --[[ rules = { ["Flaming Cliffs by Eagle Dynamics"] = { required = false , disabled = true } }, --]] this will allow to show the su-27 icon (next to fc3 icon) & background-theme & su-27 theme-music ;) Thanks for that one! Nice to see the 27 in all its glory as my default wallpaper in-game. :) PC: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X | MSI Suprim GeForce 3090 TI | ASUS Prime X570-P | 128GB DDR4 3600 RAM | 2TB Samsung 870 EVO SSD | Win10 Pro 64bit Gear: HP Reverb G2 | JetPad FSE | VKB Gunfighter Pro Mk.III w/ MCG Ultimate VKBcontrollers.com
Belgeode Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 (edited) Just a quick update. I decided today that I really did want the flaming cliffs update after all, and of course upon installing it, my icons, wallpaper and sounds for the Eagle and Flanker went bye bye. I used what was posted above but found a little easier tweak you can do instead. The same line above- instead of this. ["Flaming Cliffs by Eagle Dynamics"] = { required = false , disabled = true } make it read this: ["Flaming Cliffs by Eagle Dynamics"] = { required = false , disabled = false } No need to remove/disable the line altogether and risk getting the annoying nag screen even though you already bought the module and applied its key. Let me know how that works better for you all, and merry xmas to all. Edited December 24, 2014 by Belgeode [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] YouTube ~ Twitch
