Drones for properly licensed commercial and industrial applications are fantastic.

Drones for personal use outside of areas specifically designated for their use are destructive to all of us.

I do like the operator setup!!!!

Just curious, what do you mean?

I fly a "hobby drone" and I didn't think there was a big fuss about flying it.

RC airplane/helicopter flyers use an insurance company in the US called the American Modellers Association (AMA). They have been tasked with massive amounts of complaints about people using drones inappropriately given the general public see them as RC aircraft.

People who fly RC airplanes do so (vast majority) at AMA sanctioned fields only, Drone pilots do not.

The problems created by the drone enthusiasts have resulted in a massive clampdown of people's ability to fly RC aircraft.

Personally I feel that unless you fly a "drone" at a sanctioned field and hold an AMA membership, you are part of the problem.

The FAA is now involved and it can only get worse from this point.

In Canada we have MAAC. Its the same idea as AMA and they have stayed away from the drone controversy thus far. However, like all others things, it will eventually get here and a perfectly honest, simply hobby could very well be destroyed by an uneducated few.

This drone is designed to fly between 30,000 ft and 60,000 ft and is equipped with transponder. So you not need to worry it might spoil anybody's afternoon.
