Dirty Rotten Flieger Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 So I believe the german planes are supposed to fly straight and level at max continuous power at sea level with balanced controls. No input required. When the dora came out it required constant aileron input to fly straight and level. It may seem like nitpicking but we can't adjust the aileron trim tabs to balance the plane so it was a little annoying knowing that historically they designed them to balance at cruise. Till I found out we could mod the aileron trim tabs and fix the problem. I appreciate the german engineers designing a plane that is balanced at cruise and doesn't need rudder trim or constant pressure on the stick. Is K4 is released with historical balanced trim at cruise?
Anatoli-Kagari9 Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Yes she does :) Balanced in roll and pitch. Very harmonious. Flight Simulation is the Virtual Materialization of a Dream...
Dirty Rotten Flieger Posted December 3, 2014 Author Posted December 3, 2014 Oh thanks for replying! happy to hear it. I'll buy it as soon as I can. It may seem like small thing, but it really put me off flying the dora.

No need to touch the trim tabs until now... Flight Simulation is the Virtual Materialization of a Dream...
jimcarrel Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 No need for the mod now. It's a done deal in latest patches Win 10 64 bit Intel I-7 7700K 32GB Ram Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 6gig
Anatoli-Kagari9 Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Well, not quite like so, after all, but we did get back that LUS script to fine tune it like in the Dora, although presently it is not having effect - yesterday I changed the values myself, and noticed no diferences in the right rolling tendency at cruise settings...
