Ramjet Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Hello. It has been a while since I've played, and I just re-installed the game fresh. I have a-10c and ka-50 profiles for my x52 pro dated september 2013 (the ones in saved games/DCS/...). I was wanting to import them, but I've noticed ED have changed the way they handle profiles and now use a .diff lua. I haven't been able to successfully bring in my old profiles. If I load them under "Options" --> "Controls", it seems to just load whatever the default is, rather than my profiles. I remember it took me quite some time to get them mapped, and I also have an external profile with my saitek software that I used in conjunction to those saved game profiles. Is there a way to successfully import older in-game joystick lua profiles into the current version?
cichlidfan Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Profiles saved in versions prior to v1.2.8 cannot be used with current versions of DCS World. Both the file name, extension to be specific, and the internal structure have changed. Tone71 Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 To be honest, if you've not played for a while it's probably better to remap your controls from scratch anyway; I know it's a time consuming PITA but it'll be worth it.
